You can't go to New Zealand without participating in some kind of adrenaline sport. It seems like every town that we went to there was some outfit trying to get us to sign up for bungy jumping, or skydiving, or some other extreme sport. It didn't take the rafting company in Rotorua to persuade us to do the Kaituna River's Okere Falls. They claim that it is the highest commercially rafted waterfall in the world. I'm sitting three seats back on the starboard side.
